Tectonix partnered with Howard Civil Engineering to provide natural stone materials to the impressive new One City Park development in Bradford for Muse Developments, one of the UK’s leading names in mixed-use development and urban regeneration.

One City Park marks the start of an exciting new Business Quarter in Bradford providing a 56,000sqft of BREEAM excellent, grade-A office space as the city builds towards its City of Culture status in 2025.

The impressive steel and glass structure is complemented perfectly by a beautiful landscape design by re-form landscape architecture which includes Italian Porphyry, Haslingden Blue Yorkstone paving, and European Granite steps, planters, and rain gardens.

The building itself has been designed with sustainability at its core, with Photovoltaic panels and low carbon Ground Source heat pumps installed, it was critical that the products chosen for the surrounding landscape reflected a more sustainable approach. The pallet was specifically chosen from Europe with this in mind but also to match and complement existing products laid in the vicinity and fit a challenging install program.

Tectonix was initially chosen as the right partner for this project due to its extensive European supply partners and flexible logistics network allowing mixed deliveries to site in order to keep to the strict and complex build schedule. Delivering on time and on budget.

With over 1100m² of Trentino Porphyry, 700lm of Quinta Grey Granite steps with contrasting nosings, five bespoke planters and rain gardens, coupled with Haslingden Blue Yorkstone to complete the project, Tectonix delivered this project with regular communication and engagement with Howard’s onsite team.
