Sandstone is a clastic sedimentary rock primarily made up of quartz and feldspar minerals making it extremely durable and resistant to weathering. It is for that reason that sandstone has been widely used as a building material across the globe for centuries.

At Tectonix, we provide Indian Quartzitic sandstone, similar in aesthetic to UK Indigenous Yorkstone and equally as tough and durable. We have a broad range of naturally split riven sandstone in stock as well as bespoke made-to-order Sawn sandstone available as an alternative to Yorkstone.
