BANK JUNCTION, LONDON
Tectonix on the money at Bank Junction
Products: European Granite
Contractor: FM Conway
Client: City of London Corporation
Tectonix worked closely with the City of London and FM Conway to provide three stunning 3-metre-long Corgo European granite benches at Mansion House, Bank Junction in London.

Positioned within the shadows of the imposing Royal Exchange building and a stone's throw from the historic Bank of England and Threadneedle Street, Tectonix worked alongside The City of London and FM Conway to help produce these distinctive yet functional street furniture solution.

Corgo, a consistent and clean silver-grey granite from Europe, with very little movement, was chosen by the client for its clean and timeless appeal.
Heavily involved from the outset in the 3D modelling, visualisation and foundation design by Cube Consulting Engineers, Tectonix supported right the way through from proposing the right granite to suit the client's brief to the complex delivery restrictions, offloading and installation by FM Conway.

Director & Co-founder of Tectonix Dave Stanger said: “It was a pleasure to be part of this project from start to finish. We take great pride in seeing our products in situ and in use especially when we’ve taken such an active role in material selection, engineering design and installation.”
